Introducing Composed: The Scheduling App I Always Wished Existed
I wanted what I always thought Siri should be capable of. I built it. Here's the story of Composed — the most effortless way to schedule and be reminded.

I’ve always been a tech nerd, but I never thought I’d get into computer programming.
With AI, it’s like many things that didn’t make sense before — because they were so tedious to build — suddenly come together. I started seeing the potential to build things that could be genuinely, insanely helpful for real people.
I’ve been putting in hours daily over the last year and a half, building and learning. And just recently, my app Composed was approved for the iOS App Store.
The Problem I Was Solving
Appointments and scheduling have always been one of the most stressful things for me.
When I used Google Calendar, I was always going in and manually setting reminders — 1 week before, 1 day before, the morning of. Every single time. For every single event. It was tedious and easy to forget, and if I forgot to set them I’d miss things.
What I really wanted was what I always thought Siri should be capable of.
I wanted to say “I have a dentist appointment next Thursday at 1pm in Traverse City” and have it find the dentist, ask me which one, save it to my calendar, and remind me so I don’t have to think about it again.
That’s it. That’s the whole idea. But nothing did that.
So I built it.
What Composed Does
Composed is the most effortless way to schedule and be reminded.
Say it, snap it, or type it — then stop thinking about it.

Say it
Speak naturally. “Dinner with Shane Saturday at 7” becomes a scheduled event. Composed understands context — time, location, people — and creates the event with smart reminders already set.
You don’t configure reminders. They’re contextual. For a dinner across town, it tells you when to leave. For a flight, it gives you check-in alerts, boarding alerts, and a departure time from your front door.

Snap it
Take a photo of an event poster. It reads it, extracts the date, time, and location, and adds it to your calendar. No typing.
Take a screenshot of your flight booking. It’s in your calendar — and Composed tells you when you need to leave to get to the airport on time. Every leg of the trip, handled.

Stop thinking about it
This is the part that gets me. Once something is in Composed, you’re done. The contextual smart reminders work it out — you get reminded at the right time, in a calm way, so you show up prepared instead of scrambling.
No overdue labels. No red warnings. No guilt. Just your events, tasks, and notes in one calm place.

It’s Free — And It’s Just Getting Started
Composed is free to download and use. Go download it, say “dinner in whatever city at 6pm,” and see what it does. I hope you’re as blown away and as excited as I am.
This is a long-term project. It’s going to get better and smarter over time. I see it becoming the absolute easiest, most effortless, most wonderful way to schedule, manage todos and notes — all synced with contextual smart reminders that actually make sense.
Coming soon: full Google Calendar + Apple Calendar sync. Your whole life in one calm view.
