I wanted my events, tasks, notes, and birthdays all in one place — with smart reminders built in — so I don't have to stress. I wanted the least stressful, most effortless, easiest way to schedule and be reminded about everything. That's the whole idea behind Composed.

"I wanted to create what I thought Siri should have been able to do years ago. Hey, I have a dentist appointment next Thursday at 10am in Shibuya — and it pulls up the list of dentists, schedules it, reminds me, and makes sure I leave on time."

Reminders that are actually built in

Every time I scheduled something in Google Calendar, I had to go in and manually add reminder alerts. Every. Single. Time. A dentist appointment? Add a reminder. A flight? Add a reminder. A friend's birthday? Add a reminder. It was the most tedious part of scheduling — and nobody had fixed it.

So I built Composed with reminders that are just there. Every event automatically gets a graduated reminder system — awareness days before, an action reminder when it's time to prepare, and an urgency alert when it's time to go. You never have to think about it.

Composed tracks your real-time location and calculates exactly when you need to head out — based on actual distance and traffic, not a guess. Walk, drive, or transit. It updates automatically and tells you when it's time to go. You just show up on time.

Built by someone who needed it

I'm Jesse. I run a small cafe in Charlevoix, Michigan — a tourist town on Lake Michigan. During the summer, I'm managing staff, ordering supplies, and serving customers. During the winter, I'm building software.

I built Composed because every planning app I tried felt like a second job. Red overdue labels. Guilt-driven reminders. "You missed 3 tasks!" I didn't need more stress. I needed less.
