Composed understands events, tasks, times, and locations from conversational speech. It uses Apple's on-device speech recognition for real-time display and can optionally refine with OpenAI for enhanced accuracy.
What are AI prep tasks?
When you create an event, Composed automatically generates a checklist of things to prepare. For a dentist appointment, it might suggest "Bring insurance card" and "Arrive 15 minutes early." For a flight, it generates packing reminders and document checks. You can add your own tasks too.
Does Composed work with my existing calendar?
Yes. Composed imports events from Apple Calendar so everything lives in one place alongside your tasks and notes. It reads your calendar to suggest prep tasks for upcoming events. It never modifies your existing calendar events without explicit permission.
How does departure tracking work?
Composed calculates real-time travel time to your event location and sends you a "time to leave" notification factoring in current traffic. For flights, it accounts for airport buffer time, check-in, and security based on whether your flight is domestic or international.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. Your data is stored with row-level security, meaning only you can access your events. We do not sell data, use advertising trackers, or store audio recordings. You can delete your account and all data instantly from Settings.
